How to Invest

This guide walks you through the process of investing in a company through its Aktionariat Investor Page.

Step 1: Find the Company’s Investor Page

Section titled “Step 1: Find the Company’s Investor Page”

Each company on Aktionariat has its own Investor Page. You can find it through:

  • A link shared by the company (on their website, in emails, or on social media)
  • The Aktionariat Portfolio App

The Investor Page shows the company’s profile, current share price, market capitalization, and available legal documents.

Click “Sign In to Buy Shares” on the Investor Page. You can sign in using:

  • The Aktionariat Portfolio App (recommended)
  • A compatible Ethereum wallet via WalletConnect

If this is your first time, you will need to create an account and set up a wallet.

Before you can invest, you need to:

  • Accept the company’s Registration Agreement
  • Accept the Token Holder Agreement
  • Provide your shareholder details (name, address) for the company’s registry

This information is required so the company can maintain a compliant shareholder registry. You only need to do this once per company.

Select how many shares you want to purchase. The Investor Page displays the current price per share, set by the issuer. Review the total amount before proceeding.

Choose your payment method:

Transfer the specified amount to the company’s bank account. The Investor Page will display the payment details. Once the transfer is confirmed, shares are allocated to your wallet.

Pay with a supported cryptocurrency (e.g. ZCHF stablecoin). The transaction settles atomically on-chain — payment and share allocation happen in a single blockchain transaction, with no delay.

After payment is confirmed, your tokenized shares appear in your wallet. You can view and manage them in the Aktionariat Portfolio App. Your ownership is automatically recorded in the company’s digital shareholder registry.

Once you hold shares, you can:

  • View your position on the company’s Investor Page or in the Portfolio App
  • Receive dividends when the company distributes profits
  • Vote on corporate decisions at general assemblies
  • Sell shares on the secondary market, if enabled by the company
  • Transfer shares to another wallet
  • Download reports — accounting and tax reports for your holdings
