How Can I Use Secondary Trading
The secondary market lets investors buy and sell existing shares directly with each other. Prices are determined by supply and demand, and ownership transfers are recorded on-chain.
Key Terms

| Bid | The highest price a buyer is currently willing to pay |
| Ask | The lowest price a seller is currently willing to accept |
| Spread | The gap between the bid and ask price |
| Order Book | A list of all open buy and sell orders organized by price level |
| Limit Price | Your maximum buying price or minimum selling price — all trades are limit orders, giving you full price control |
Placing a Buy Order
Section titled “Placing a Buy Order”- Select Buy
- Enter the share quantity
- Set your limit price (maximum you’re willing to pay)
- Review whether your order will match instantly or remain pending
- Connect your wallet and provide two signatures:
- Grant Spending Permission
- Confirm Purchase
Upon an instant match, ZCHF is deducted and shares are credited to your wallet.
Placing a Sell Order
Section titled “Placing a Sell Order”- Select Sell
- Enter the share quantity
- Set your limit price (minimum you’ll accept)
- Review the match status — orders may execute partially or in full
- Connect your wallet
- Review the trading fee (1.9% of share value)
- Provide two signatures:
- Grant Spending Permission
- Confirm Sale
Upon an instant match, shares are deducted and ZCHF is credited to your wallet.
